CHEESE BOARD BASIC (beyond basic!)
I am a firm believer in anything on a wood board for entertaining! I love the simplicity and how quick it comes together; but you have to make sure to collect a variety of pieces to pick and choose depending on your appetizers elements.
Since I am constantly getting asked about Cheese Boards; I decided to show you the ultimate simple pieces to have in your kitchen.
Think of a quick get together during the Holiday season or even just when my daughter Valeria's play-dates extend a bit longer and mom's are just chit-chatting away. It is the perfect opportunity to feel someone welcome and enjoy a quick appetizer. Please don't forget to include the wine!!!

Purchase some basic WOOD BOARDS... Start with purchasing one first...
Also buy some UTENSILS... Just the most basic.
1. WIDE KNIFE for Soft/Crumbly cheeses.
2. NARROW KNIFE for Semi-Firm or Soft cheeses
3. ALL PURPOSE - cheese knife
4. APPETIZER - tiny wood spoons

Start collecting.... the more you have the easier it is to quickly pick for dips, olives, dry fruits, honey, etc. ( confession... I have about 40 small plates)
