Champagne for New Year's Eve
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! It is an amazing time of year to enjoy new and exciting recipes of all kinds and what better way to enjoy a cozy party by a bar cart! I recently hosted a Holiday gathering for some girlfriends and serve Soupe Champenoise, with simple o'devours combined with the star of the night; the most delicate, indulging Red Velvet cake made by my twin sister Verna.
I know we all want to pop Champagne during New Year's Eve and this is an delicious easy recipe that your friends and family will love.
Soupe Champenoise
1 Bottle of Champagne
1/2 Cup Cointreau
1/2 Cup fresh squeeze Lime juice
1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
Dissolve sugar in citrus juice, add Cointreau and chilled Champagne. Enjoy!!!
HAPPY 2015!!!
